agrirouter Next Generation demonstrates how digital data exchange works

In Hall 21, visitors of AGRITECHNICA 2025 will find the new Digital Farm Center with the DLG spotlight “Digital Farming.” DKE-Data (Hall 21/C17) will be there as a specialist partner, presenting agrirouter Next Generation. According to DKE-Data, the platform for digital data exchange in agriculture is manufacturer-independent, practical, and open to new ideas.

agrirouter Next Generation – stable, powerful, and versatile

With the new version agrirouter Next Generation, DKE-Data presents a completely revised foundation for digital data transfer between machines, software, and people. The platform is based on a modern microservices architecture and is designed for high loads.

In addition to optimized user guidance and improved performance, agrirouter Next Generation also offers a direct interface to the John Deere Operations Center for the first time. In the first expansion stage, planning data and field documentation can be reliably transferred, according to DKE-Data.

According to the manufacturer, agrirouter has been running stably for over a year with 100% availability.

New standards in sight: agrirouter becomes AgIN-ready

Another key focus for DKE-Data is interoperability through standardization. Agrirouter is one of the first participants to support the new AgIN initiative (Agricultural Interoperability Network). The aim of this initiative is to establish a common standard for the exchange of machine and operating data across system boundaries. The target go-live for AgIN — and thus its availability to customers — is planned for the end of 2026.

For software and machine manufacturers who are already connected to agrirouter, this means that AgIN functionality will be included after the go-live, according to DKE-Data – without the need for duplicate development.

More than field work: New fields of application and partners worldwide

According to DKE-Data, the possibilities of agrirouter have long exceeded traditional machine communication. Applications in feeding technology, silo management, and food processing can increasingly be integrated via the platform—with the help of existing ISO data standards. The partner network is continuously expanding, with new collaborations with companies from Brazil, Israel, Poland, Singapore, Denmark, and Italy, highlighting the international scope.

Examples show how agrirouter is already playing an important role in data exchange in the areas of smart farming and smart food. A representative example is the exchange of master data  between CCI.Maps and the John Deere Operations Center, which will be demonstrated at the trade fair using  field boundaries.  In the future, boundaries will no longer need to be maintained twice, as they can be automatically synchronized between the two systems.

Experience it live at the Digital Farm Center

Visitors of AGRITECHNICA 2025 can see for themselves how agrirouter makes digital processes more efficient and transparent.

The DKE-Data booth at the “Digital Farming” spotlight booth (Hall 21 / C17) will feature daily live demos, technical discussions, and practical insights.
